&lt;p&gt;I am not suggesting MLSs get in the business of competing with brokers, and recognize that that&#039;s a legitmate concern among some brokers - most often on the question of whether or not an MLS should have a public website. &lt;/p&gt;

I know a lot of brokers, and have heard them say, that they would be upset with their MLS competing against them.  Isn&#039;t what you described above more the brokers/agents job than the MLSs&#039;?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Changing is like starting a new habit. Blogging and social media needs needs to be done over and over until it becomes a new habit.&lt;/p&gt;
